FAQ
HOW TO PREPARE A PRINTED FILE?
To ensure quality printing and perfect results, we would like to share with you some important requirements for printed files. Please check them before sending your order:
  • File format: Please provide files in PDF, TIFF or AI, CDR, PSD format. These formats provide the best compatibility and maintain image quality.
  • Resolution: To get a clear and sharply printed image, we recommend using a resolution of at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) or create a file in the vector. This will avoid pixelation and save details of your images.
  • Color Model: If your document contains color images or elements, make sure that they are configured in CMYK mode (cyan, magenta, yellow, black). This will ensure accurate color reproduction on the print.
  • Trimming and edges: When preparing a document for business cards, flyers, small-format posters, booklets, tickets and other small format, as well as for printed stickers, be sure to take into account the margin under the edge (bleed) 2-3mm from each edge. For example, the size of the business card is 90x50mm, the file with blight will be 94x54mm. In stock under the cut-off goes the background of the file, patterns. All important information should not go beyond the safe field. Safe field is considered to be a 4-5mm deviation from the edge (excluding bliss!). For example, business card 90×50 security field will be 85x45mm. The standard tolerance for cutting in a pile up to 2mm can also be 1-2mm in two-sided printing, so anything close to the edge can be trimmed. Also do not recommend putting the frames close to the edge.
  • The roll-up file should be at the bottom 30mm longer (with the background of the image), this is the size that goes inside the structure to connect to the mechanism (invisible part).
  • If the printed product implies a spiral binding or grommets along the edges of the banner, be sure to take into account the indentation for this in the printed file.
  • Fonts: If your document uses special fonts, make sure that they are converted to curves or provided separately. This will allow you to keep the correct font display when printing.
  • Using vector graphics: If you have logos or illustrations, we recommend using vector formats such as CDR, AI, EPS. They allow to scale the image without loss of quality.
  • Checking before sending: Please make sure that all elements are displayed correctly and no errors are made before sending your file. We recommend you carefully check the text, images and colors. Be sure to group all the elements.
We hope that these requirements will help you prepare printed files that meet your expectations. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact us.
